Welcome to our Roost

Stories of daily life in Wattlesford. Poultry education. Rooster advocacy.

I’m Krystal, and Roots, Roost & Rafter is the home base for all of my projects and ideas. What started as me sharing stories from the homestead while I was figuring out life with chickens has, over the years, grown into a collection of connected projects shaped by life with chickens, each one focused on a different piece of the puzzle: learning, rooster advocacy, storytelling, and building better tools for small farms and homesteads.

The stories and the ideas all start here. Roots, Roost & Rafter is where everything begins before it branches out into something more specific.
