Meet the Staff

Get to know the feathery characters who rule the roost

Welcome to Wattlesford – the bustling little village where every hen, rooster, and goose has a name, an opinion, and probably a dramatic backstory. One thing is for certain, life in Wattlesford is never dull. With roosters crowing, hens clucking, geese honking, and a dog barking, it’s never quiet for long either!

Come meet characters who fill our coops (and our days) with more drama and personality than sense.
It’s like a reality show crossed with a bad soap opera around here.

The Production Managers

We currently have four roosters and one young cockerel patrolling the village of Wattlesford. They handle flock relations, snack discoveries, and peacekeeping duties – with varying degrees of success. Our boys may not lay eggs, but they work full-time keeping their ladies safe, fed, and (occasionally) impressed by their questionable dance moves.

Still In Training

Junior hatched on our homestead this summer and is still still figuring out what it means to be in charge. With Ted as his dad and Levy next door, we’re confident he’ll grow into a fine (and loud!) flock leader.

The Egg Department

Life in Wattlesford wouldn’t be the same without a flock of opinionated hens keeping every rooster on his toes. Our girls are laying the foundation of our village – one colorful egg at a time.

The Independent Contractors

No rooster oversight needed! These hens chart their own course, scratching, clucking, and laying eggs on their own terms while keeping life in Wattlesford interesting.

Our Free Rangers

Poppy & Nem and Ruby & Pippa wander the homestead as dynamic duos, exploring, snacking, and occasionally stirring up trouble. Loyal to their partners but unpredictable to everyone else, these ladies keep life in Wattlesford lively.

Beef, Nori & Pepper

In their own little corner of the homestead, our “accidental” bantam flock holds court. These miniature hens spend their days talking up a storm, chasing each other around, and producing the cutest little blue eggs in all of Wattlesford. Small in stature, big in personality, and endlessly entertaining.

Chief Mischief Officers

Baxter and Sam: two geese with boundless energy and a flair for mischief. They may not lay eggs (yet), but their antics keep everyone on their toes. From stealing tools to hiding treasures to honking the place down, these feathered rascals make sure life in the village is never boring.

Head of Security

Ever vigilant, Renji keeps watch over Wattlesford, barking at anything that moves (or sometimes nothing at all). He may not have feathers, but he’s just as much a part of the crew – whether he’s guarding the hens or getting distracted by a squirrel.
